Pretty Litter Liars

Some time ago I started watching a serie called Pretty Little Liars because one of my friends was always talking about that and I was curious for know what it was so one Friday night I took my laptop and I search the first chapter. Being honest, I remember that I didn't like it very much, I thought that is was a strange serie and I decided to spend the rest of that night watching a film. I don't know why, another day that I was very bored I decided to continue watching the serie and this time, I liked it more and in the twinkling of an eye I had finished the first season. Since then, whenever I can, I see this serie because it has become one of my favorites.

It is based in a serie of books but I haven't read anyone. The serie it's about a group of five friends: Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily, the fifth called Alison, disappeared and had a mysterious death. One year later of the death of Alison, the four girls start to receive anonymous messages signed with the letter "A". This anonymous person knows all about the life of this girls (like Alison), he or she knows everything they do or they had done, what they say,... and through the messages this person blackmail the girls, threat them,...

During all the serie this girls keeps investigating and they discover things about her friend that they didn't know before and each time they get closer to "A". At the same time, there are love stories, family problems,...

I love this serie because it's very entertainign, almost every chapter appears a new character that makes that everything turned out to be more gripping and also have mystery! When a chapter ends the only thing you want is continue with the next. Now I'm seeing the fourth season and as it hasn't been released in Spain, I watch it in Englis that it's perfect because I have another excuse to see the serie: learn English.

I don't have any favorite character, of course there are some that I like more than others but in generally I like the five friends although Alison (that we know how she was because the serie has flashbacks where she appear) seems that was the worst friend ever but you realized that she did all for protect her friends. Anyway, I think that if only one character were missing, the serie would not be the same. 

Excalibur, the dog sacrificated for precaution

I decided to talk about this new because it's about one of the most spoken matters in the last days and it has caused a big impact in Social Networks like Twitter and Facebook where a lot of people, incluidin celebrities, has left their opinion about the measures taken and  has caused an important conflict in the streets as well.
Excalibur has been sacrificed for precaution in the face of the risk of been a carrier of Ebola. This happened despite the big campaing that the owners, especially the husband of the nurse that was infected by the virus, made to avoid it. A van of the University translated the death corpse of the dog to an incinerator between the protests of a crow formed by animalist groups and people of the surrounding. When the van was lefting the house the group of people that were waiting at the exit started to scream “Killers” and similars things to the people responsible of carrying out the operation, also, three women had lay on the road with the message: “Excalibur, the world is with you” .
The Ministry of Health says that they had sacrificed the dog because it was in constant contact with the sick nurse and there was the risk of contagion, thing that will supposed another risk: the transmission of the sickness to another person however the big conflict has appeared because never before has been a transmission between a person and a dog, and for this, a lot of people considered that there was no reason for finish with the live of the Excalibur without any proves. This fact has caused a big alteration in the social networks: the conflict has been “trending topic” in Twitter with the hashtag #SaveExcalibur where a lot of people, including some celebrities, have left his opinion.

 

In contrary with the opinion of most of the people, I think that sacrificing the dog Excalibur has been a good idea because there was the risk of contagion and prevent now it's better than cure after, also, you can’t know if a dog is infected or not because they don’t show symptoms, I mean, when a person is infected by Ebola, he or she have a number of symptoms like fever, head ache,… but the dogs doesn’t show anything, they are only careers and of course, they can infect other people and animals. It's also true that maybe, scientific, should have taken this “opportunity” for study the behavior of this virus in animals because for the moment we don’t know almost anything about this. Anyway, I’m continuing thinking that the decision taken was correct for the security of the population that at the end, is the most important thing.

Hi Ana, my name is Andrea Mateos and I’m studying the social batxillerat.

I started studying English when I was 8 years old, my mother inscribed my sister and my in an English academy called Aula, the same academy that my brother used to went. Since then, we were going to the same place for thought English. Before, I used to go with all my school friends and we spent a very good time and I think that for this I like to study English.

My school was different from all others, instead of taking English lessons, we took French lessons. It supposed that I should know some French because I was taking lessons until the age of 11 years old (we changed the French lessons for the English lessons because our teacher retired), but I don’t know nothing!

I have never traveled to another place specifically for learning English (maybe next summer I will) but when I traveled to another countries like Germany, Switzerland,... I was required to use it, but it isn’t necessary to go far away to practice your English, every summer I meet someone who I can only can speak in English to understand each other.

Last year, I was on the point of making the First Certificate Exam but at least I didn’t do it because I think that It is too expensive for an exam that it isn’t the maximum, I mean, there are others exams above this that I can do without this. Now I’m preparing the Advance Examan.

Goodbye eso!!!

It isn't easy choose my favourite post because I like most of them but I'm going to choose two: a My World called "Ross Capicchioni" and the pots about the school trip to Berlín. I like these two post more than the others because both of them are quite long, overcoat the post about Berlín. 

After a year making our blogs, now, we have to choose our favourite blog. I think that the best blog is "Don't look back in anger" (http://quimpalmada.blogspot.com.es/). This blog is made by Quim and I really like it because all the post are very good, I like the subject of his My Worlds and I like all the pictures. 

PortAventura

I have been in Port Aventura all this weekend. I went with my football team and we stayed in the Hotel el Caribe. The Hotel was beautiful and it had a big big swiming pool. The gardens of the hotel were full of rabbits. I really liked this weekend because we had had a very good time, the park was open untill 4 am and Radio FlaixBac was there handing presents and putting music.

We met a lot of people during we were doing line in the attractions. For me, the best atracttions are Shambala (I get on five or six times!), FuriusBaco and the aquatic ones. We didn't went to a many shows, we only enter in the Fire Temple and it was awesom, but it was very hot inside.

The new: Sergio Ramos, the hero of the Tenth.

Sergio ramos is the hero of the Tenth. His goal against Atlético de Madrid, now, it's part of the legend of the club. "It's a goal that brand my life, now I can die", says the player after the match.

Ramos, that will tatto the European Cup like he did with the World Cup, has starred an espectacular end of season and had become the lider of the team.

"Sergio is the topman of the team, he's an incredible player. He's an example inside and outside the the pitch and can work with he it's a fortunate for all of us" says Paul Clement, second of Ancelotti that was moved when he remembered the goal. "His goal is one of the more exciting moments that I had live. Goal in the 93' the tie of the end of champions...it's a unique moment".

Florentino Pérez was one of all the people that felt proud of the player. He decided to sign him in 2005 when he was a child and now is one of the best players in the world and the hero of the Tenth. "Sergio made me jump of the harrow" recognized the president. But not only the president and the coaches congratulated the player after the match, their mates did it too. "Sergio is a phenomenon and deserveres it, he is awesom" says Casillas. "He is one of the best players of the world, his goal made us very happy" says luka Modrci.

Ramos rested importance to their goal saying that it was of "all the fans" but the reality is that there aren't any player that not thanks him have marked that goal.

Little by little, match by match, Ramos had become in the lider of Real Madrid and every time has more importance in the wardrove.He led all the celebrations of the Tenth next to Iker Casillas.

Now you see me

Recently, I had seen the film "Now you see me" and I really liked it and for this, I decide to talk about that.

It's about a group made by the best ilusionist magicians called "The Four Hoursemen". These group steal money from corrupt men or from banks and make it rain above their public and it's incredible because they can stole a bank in Paris during they are making the show in Las Vegas. While, the FBI and the Interpol are trying to anticipate his next stroke that's it's bigger than the previous. They, ofcourse, can't find out anything because they are "fighting" against magicians, so they decide to appeal to Thaddeus, known for reveal the tricks of the best magicians.

Ross Capicchioni

I already seen this video and it surprised me a lot! Ross capicchino was a normal adolescent that lived in a district near of one of the worst districs in his city, the police never stopped there. One day, his best friend asked him to took him to her cousin's house that was in the worst distric. At first, Ross sayed no but at the end he had to trusted in his friend and he decide to take him. They went by car and Ros was who drive. When they arrived to the home, her friend told him to went at the back of the house. When they take down of the car, her friend pulled a gun and he shot Ross three times. Ross was thrown on the floor and his "friend" took the car and go away.

Ross tried to satand up but he couldn't, lukily a man called the ambulance and he could go to the hospital. There, the doctors though that he would die, but luckily he survive. Then he explain what happened and the police arrested his "friend". He sayed that he did that because it was like a test for enter in a band.

Since then, Ross has trouble for trust in people.

Describing a picture

In this photo we can see a group of people, maybe they are a camera crew for the gadgets that we can see near the man on the right of the picture and maybe they are making a write-up about whales

I really like this picture because It's a very interesting scene being that this isn't seen every day, but it's a little weird because the place seems cold and I suppose for this all the team wear warm clothes, but the woman that is touching the wales is only with a bikini!

News in levels: True Love

Recently, I heared a beutiful story about  two people, a british boy and a pakistani girl and they started to talk throught an Internet xat and they became good friends. After a few months they expressed they love for each other and they bee happily for a few weeks, but on day, the girl stoped to answerered the boys messages.

The boy was very worried and he waited a lot but the answers never arrived. Three years later, he stay away from girls because he still thinking about the pakistani girl. One day, he was at the University and a girl aproched to him and they started to talk. She explain her that she was the girl on the Internet and she stoped to talk with him because she had had a car accident and she was in the hospital paralysed for a year. When she got better, she panned to go to the university that he had told her that he wanted to go.

My football team

I play in a football team called Sant Pere F.C. I been playing football since I was five years old and I had played in differents teams. Since the last year I'm playing in the Catalan Seleccion of famel footba and since three years, I'm playing in a high category so if my team win the leage, next year we will play, in "preferent" taht is the highest competiton, and it sems that we can win this leage because we've been winning all the matches and we are in the fisrt position and only missing five matches!

My favouite serie

I really like watching TV and for this I have a lot of "favourites series", but the most I like is "Glee". This is a comic-musical serie and it's about one club of music in the high school.At the biggining, all the members were "nerds", but at the end of the school year, all of them had changed a lot in this club. They had made new friends, they won a competition of singing,... I like this serie because sometimes, appeared famous people like Demi Lovato and  there are a little bit of romance too.

This serie had had a lot of fans untill the beggining and they had made 5 seasons. I saw 4 because the fifth only appeared in the United Satates so I'm very exiting for the next, but it's sad because is the last one seanseon because on of the main characters had died because of the drugs...

Tourist Interview

This thursday we are going to Bareclona with the school. There we're going to see a theatrical perfomance  but fisrt we have to ask some questions to a differents tourist about her holidays in Barcelona. Yes, but only postcards so far

Yeah, we tryed tapas, iberia something,...yea well a couple of things but we don't know if these was catalan or spanish or general european

No I don't think so

Yes!

Well maybe expensive entrades to the museums

Romeo and Juliet; differences between the book and the film

Question 1: In the film the story takes place in Verona Beach, an exotic city of United States. Instead of taking place on the 16th century like in the book, it takes place in the end of the 20th century. The fight between the Capulets and the Montagues in the film happens in and old circus, but in the book it happens on the Verona's street. In the film everybody dresses up modernly but in the book they didn't.

Question 2: In the film, the swimming pool is like the balcony in the book, because they kissed there.
In the book, the Capulets and the Montagues fights at the begginig, but in the movie there's fire in the petrol station and they don't have so much time for that.
The water means love because it appears in every scene between Romeo and Juliet.

Question 3: We can say that the narrator is the presenter of the news, cause it appears at the beggining and at the end. All the caracters speak in verse and they speak in "Old English".

Question 4: In the party, everybody can dresses up like they want, and in the other part of the movie everybody is dressed on a very modern way.

Question 5: Swords for guns // Cars for horses // The beach for the city // In the film they use helicopters // The police is the army in the film

Question 6: In the movie, the characters somkes, the city is very lightly and instead of a king there is a police officer.
